Theres been a few like that lately. I'm not sure that it isn't a ploy to attract attention to the auction and help the sale? Surely there cant be that many stupid people out there.

cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUSTIN-A40-COUNTRYMAN-RED-BLACK_W0QQitemZ220267953409I looked at and drove this very car 12 months ago in Telford. Eagle-eyed Austinophiles will have already spotted the fact that it's not a 1960 because it's a Series 2......it drives really well though- but then it would, for when I drove it the '948cc engine' had an engine number beginning 12H. ;D

Am i the only one where 'owned by my 10,000 year old nan for all it's life' or 'one lady owner', puts me off buying the car? Must be seeing how my mother treats her car or mine when she uses them...

Yep. that was mine! Here's a couple of Pics that Benz Boy took at RTTS a few years back I sold it on shortly after Because I was under notice of redundancy at work, sold it to some guy in Newquay for £1800. He had the bodywork 'sorted' & the 'flames' sprayed on Was running a Max Hydraulics (or Hydrolicks, lol) 36v system with twin pro hopper pumps, a 4 linked rear end & powerballs. Shame to see it now; although my dash remains intact! ;D Hey guys... First post an all that... The Viscount now belongs to ME!!! ;D I bought it from a lad in Cornwall (Truro to be exact)... His name was Anthony and he told me that he'd built it for the guy HE bought it from! The before pics look ace do you have any more ash?

Strangely, a bit like S&M, some people like this sort of thing! Apparently it's a 4x4 GTI which makes it a bit unusual. Still appeals to me as much as having my ar5e whipped

I personally prefer the look of the flatter nose and wide arched version.
