Perfect!
Great to see this little gem back in the limelight. I'm sure it's featured more in the background of countless other car threads and A52 photos, looking sad and neglected, than it has in the previous 19 pages here!
Love out of the blue updates like this! I was almost expecting a 'dragged it out of the corner to get at something else and took a photo' type update, going from your title - so this really put a smile on my face!
Top work!
Joe

^^I don't think I've ever seen you so quiet as you were after that little test drive last night....I'm guessing that grin took a long time to subside? ^^ I did chuckle to myself when every time I turned around you were back in the van, sat in the drivers seat with a smile on your face. Goes alright and handles well doesn't it? ;D Thanks for all the comments everyone...it's been too long coming. I do love the little thing.

Errr...no it doesn't. Not this one.
[edit]
I'll expand a bit on that comment just to clarify.
I, personally, cannot see the point in taking a car that is nippy, driveable and very useable then turning it into something that needs a million revs to get it to move, a million revs to get into the power band and a million revs to do pretty much anything. And no reverse.
I've never wanted it to be very fast, not since the first moment I got it, not at any time during the work I've done to it and not now it's all up and running. If I wanted a fast car (and I've had a few) I'd go and buy one. It's a little van and the engine in it suits it very well. It's nippy enough for my liking and that's all I want it to be.
A bike engine would be great if I was thinking of doing track days or drag runs, but then even with the suspension much, much improved, I'd rather have a nice track car than a Rascal with a bike engine if that was my thing.
It doesn't need a bike engine, "FACT". I personally reckon a bike engine would completely ruin the van....completely.
Of course, I am happy to see other engined Rascals and I love the bike engined green pick-up one but it's totally, 100% not for me. Ever. I just love this little van the way it is.

If you have driven one & seen how close your feet are to the outside - the standard engine is as fast as you would ever want lol.

In Japan, they are 660cc with turbo. My uncle used to have 1 and it was very worrying car going around any corners. Yours seems go very well. What engine do they have? Is it Suzuki G10 4 pots 1000cc?
I like tyres on your car almost rubber bands! Took me back 30 years that vidoe did!

Building roof chopped, screen raked '68 Mini with G13B 1.3 16v Gti engine with LSD, Yamaha R1 carbs. As well as mk1 Suzuki Swift Gti AWD with a turbo. Drives PHEV Outlander but wishing my mk1 Swift Gti or mk2 CRX Vt were still with me!

Wow, it's a big car noise, only it's made by a rather small van! I love it!

Havent stopped grinning yet! ;D The cornering is mental, considering its a van! Bike engine? No way, theres no point. Before I drove it I thought it'd need a better engine too, but its revvy, willing and nippy with what it has - typical Suzuki small engine goodness. WANT WANT WANT WANT!!
