Just ran an on-line DVLA check on my latest (retro) acquisition and it came up with this...
" Vehicle details could not be found
As it has not been possible to locate the vehicle details, your enquiry cannot proceed and has been cancelled."
Any ideas as to why? Last owner said he was asked to send details to Swansea years back and 'I think I kept up to date with it but I can't find the V5 and don't know if I have it'. I do trust him and I know he's had the car for years (not on the road) but what happens if DVLA say no details or something? Can I keep it on original reg (old one isn't worth anything by the way) if I can prove ownership etc? Thanks in advance.
Meantime have a picture...
