Partly a fact finding question- I have a front alloy axle from a ~1990 vitara that I want to use in something else (think locost AWD). It needs to have a somewhat more motorway-friendly ratio. I've heard of 4.10's in the DOHC Vitaras, and I might be able to find one of those, but was hoping someone knew of confirmed interchange with a later model (Ie V6 Grand Vitara etc) where I could keep the alloy housing (I know those have an iron housing, is the R&P different?) and get going with a 3.54 to 3.73 ratio, or even 3.31.
