Hello all, I've been looking some time now for something pre 73 to use through the summer and maybe winter. I'm not looking for a mega welding project but don't mind doing the odd patch. Idealy I don't want to spend more than a grand but may do for the right car. Prefer cars around the Bath/Bristol area.
WHY?

I might consider a bike if it's not to far to travel.

My MGB GT will be coming up for sale soon pushing the envelope on your budget (I'm aiming for £1300 but will listen to offers). Welding is all done (it needed a castle section, where I put in a new Heritage item, as well as an outrigger and Jacking point. It hasn't been patched and it's had new sills at some point. Interior is tidy chrome is all good as are the mechanical items. But it needs reviving cosmetically (two new wings it needs, but I'll throw in a wing of the same colour), and it will come with Full MOT . It isn't your usual basket case which bodges upon bodges .
