I've got to redrill my hubs, so I'll need a drill press which can go slow and has a bit of clout behind it. I'll probably need one with one of those vice jobbies that goes on the bed of the drill?
Ideally I need to borrow one for a week or so, but I don't mind buying one (one would come in handy) or even leaving a deposit with someone.
Cheers dave

Ive got a cheap one you can have for free.. that said it has given up the ghost and keeps blowing fuses. hardly used think i shook something loose in the motor when we moved house as every now and then it works but usually just pops. lol If you want it to try and fix your welcome to collect (dorset) or i'll be making a trip to horsham soon if thats nearer. Thanks for the offer mate, and had you not been completely at the other end of the country I'd have taken you up on the offer - I've got a big old motor lying about in the garage to bodge onto it too.
Anyone any closer? I need one that has a few speeds and can go nice and slow for drilling a 10.5mm hole in hard hubs

Have a look in Aldi, they've got one with a 3 year warranty for about £35 in a couple of the stores in leicester. I bought one last year and they are good bits of kit. 5 speed with decent pulleys etc, with a 3 year warranty even if you kill it after one hole just go swap for another
