those are really appealing to me with my current Triumph thing going on. That 2.5 estate is pure genius, I have to make that happen one day!

Yeah, go for it with those aussie mags. Looks like some pretty rad stuff in there, photo or drawn lol. When will airbrushing come back? And the rear wheels on that fez are mighty large for a FWD No worries, GXL. Maybe someone will find more pics lol.

I alway's thought this moggy kustom was very original and cool ... Only just caught up on this thread - took an hour to read... I tried to buy that moggie last year, but the owner decided not to sell It looks a little sorry for itself now up close, but still nice and solid underneath. Goes to show the quality of the original build. That lovely white custom interior still looks fresh. Oh, it also has it's original 948cc engine too! ;D ;D Moving on... I think this post may have gone over most people's heads

Being stuck at home with food poisoning, this thread has cheered me up immensely. Nice to see some of the later Motorvations - I gave up buying SM not long after it became Street Machine and American Car World...

Great stuff, ive been meaning to dig through my old copies of SM for ages now, particularly to find the copy with Nick Arlett & Terry Ross Cortina's. I was hoping you would post this one up as this is where it all started for me -Terry Ross's white Cortina, ive had an obsession for old motors ever since i picked up that issue....

Buying a BMW or a Bentley & looking cool is easy, but the credit doesn't go to you.Taking an unloved car that cost £500 & making it good enough to get photos in magazines or stand out alongside cars that cost one hundred times more is a skill reserved for us loonies!

Jeez , lot's of replies today ! Uncleterry , i'll do some scans from that aussie mag asap ( I've just done another 100 or so pics ) twt, let's see some more pics of those first 4 volumes please as I ain't got many early ones after the first four Utterpiffle , i'm glad to see that moggy kustom lives on , it was alway's one of my favourite minors ;D Misteralz and Rmad , I kept on buying SM till the last issue but to be honest it rapidly went downhill once the american car world part started to take over the mag . The later issues didn't have any drawings by steve Kirk in either
