Forgot to mention, I reckon the satin black centres are a win and looking forward to seeing the rims all bolted up. White outers have gotta be even worse than polished to keep clean! What price style though hey?
The Merc's still at the trimmer's. It'll be finished very soon, mind. And I've just bought a new air flow meter (££££), so it should be running beautifully once it's fitted.
Oh, as for the DIY coilover how-to - if yours is anything like mine, they're an absolute doddle to fit. Bolt off, strip the hub/bearing assembly and disc and ABS sensors, throw away the old struts, bolt on the new 'uns, connect up the anti-roll bar links, wind down to the very bottom and you're off
These guys are doing mine. Having adjustable top mounts, doing the corner weights etc.
They help run the Production BMW Championship and Toyo Championship so are well versed in the dark arts of BMW suspension set-up. Will you be taking your trusty steed to the Ace Cafe next Tuesday? I know its a hike but should be worth the effort?
