Surely its a one in a zillion chance of anyone saying anything? Or are their that many people that would complain/grass on Grizz? Not a big drinker so not sure. No worries Kris, may seem strange, but I tend to keep to the clean side of the law. Have not got it anymore. Easy as. I will just use a portable 20 litre jerry can and use a submersible pump. Can's be asssed with people who have nothing better than to report etc, to make life wibblepoo for others. I had that earlier in the year when someone local to me reported me tot he council for using the side of my property to park this bus into. Nothing seems to have come of it though.

Got to meet up with PFChris today over at his workplace to trade some numberplates for Area 52, for the generator he brought through from Manchester. Seems the thing has not even had fuel in it, so brand spanking new. Thanks to all who had a hand in getting the generator here from Manchester. Next job will be to start it, stick my tongue to some of the leads to see if it does generate some current, and then to make a space for it to be stored, wish I could hang it below the chassis, but I suspect it will be too tall, so it may end up in the "tongue box" alongside the gas bottle. (OK, maybe not) With full set of destructions too.

Guess this will make sense in a moment. Just got two more pics from my engineer...... ;D They were out of sequence, so I will now post the lot once off in sequence. He will post the adaptors some time this week..... Postage £18 and total cost including post, for these adaptors comes in at £58. I am not sure this is a real reflection of what they would cost in the open market, as my bus wheel adaptors were £300 for the set of 4. And adaptors elsewhere on the VW scene are more costly too. So I count myself lucky. Cutting the "Billet" Machined to size. Milling machine at work. Threads being cut on tapping machine. Beautifull................... Done.

Same as the one I have, it worked perfectly at RR09 and even the missus ran her Hair dryer and Straightners off it so well worth it, It even powers my Flood lights too LOL (Obv not at the same time). Mine did not tell me this but get a earth Rod for it, it seems to run kakka without one and tends to cut out. I have a few mates with them now and they all say the same thing, I am pretty sure in the later versions they were stating this in the manual or sorting the Grounding issue (which one I cannot remember). Excellent purchase, and makes camping/Caravaning that bit better.

I am sure it will make a difference, my idea is a backup to charging the 12Volt battery, and maybe even simple power when needed.

Good news today. I have been indoors and sick with a chest infection since Saturday, got antibiotics today as it is not getting better. Anyway, the adaptors did arrive today, and despite knowing I should leave them alone, I could not resist wearing 4 layers, scarf and a beanie, gloves and then having a quick fumble and mock up of the adaptors with wheels attached. These are beautifully made and finnished. Fit is perfect too, a testament to the engineer who made them up, based on my very sketchy descriptions and measurements. They should push the wheels out by another 30mm, which means the 11 inch wide mudguards should be decently filled. Opinions invited on the mock up. Mobile phone just for perspective. Fitted to the hub. Wheel fitted, definitely pushed out a bit. Mudguard perched on top of some wood on the wheel. From a distance it all looks good. Lets hope it looks as good once everything is done.

will your xmas bbq be like that advert where they wipe the snow off it and have to tug on the lid to break the frozen bond?
My uncle Billy sent a pic of his xmas bbq. Just after he moved to New Zealand. He was wearing shorts and was tanned darker than David Dickinson.
Think you'll be wearing more clothes
