Finally, the last few parts have started to arrive and there's more progress. I figured I would install some decent gauges to enable me to keep an eye on the engine, now that it'll be running new cams etc. I know they're only gauges but the quality is first class. The cams arrived from the good folk at www.catcams.co.uk too.  I'm not fitting a huge ICE install but JBL do some nice 6x4's that fit the OE speaker holes. Bargain at £11 on eBay!  The mod I'm most looking forward to, is losing the stupid linkage that converts the brakes to RHD in a standard e21. If it works as well as I hope, it might be something other owners can make use of? The bay looks so much better for losing the OE servo etc too.  The new paint went on yesterday and looks simply epic. I love it.  |

It's a BMW M3 colour called Laguna Seca blue. When the orange paint mix was wrong Steve, I just had a change of heart. Much as I loved the old MIB, this car simply isn't it. Also, I wanted something new and different. As far as I know, this is the only Laguna Seca blue e21 out there. I went and took another look today when I dropped some parts over. I love the way this colour catches the light and shows every shape. It's gorgeous! I cannot wait to see it all fitted up with new chrome etc.   |

Very nice. I have to say though that I was hoping you'd paint the engine bay/underneath/interior metal that blue, but keep the orange outside.  |

my previous e46 M3 was Estoril Blue, which is similar in tone to Laguna Seca, but metallic, and i loved that colour, LSB always suited the lines of the e46 too, can't wait to see how it looks on your e21, that finish is also spot on

The new colour is great and i totally understand your thinking mark. I'm just going to have to get one myself now and i can paint mine orange now lol! If only i had the money!

Just looked on ebay but guess what, there are no orange e21's that there owers want to swap for my mondeo daily ah well i better start saving!! |
