For those of you who followed my Victor Project, then welcome to my own car
and for those that didn't you can check it out here

This is my 1981 BMW E12 M535i, only 1410 of these Motorsport cars ever made, of which only 450 were RHD, and only about 200 known surviving worldwide LHD and RHD, and interestingly 3 of which are on this forum
I bought it in 1996 it had been standing for 5 years at that point after being involved in a light front end crash, which had damaged the bonnet front panel and inner wing, other than that it was totally complete and even has a full service history, showing about 130K miles.
So I bought it trailered it home and started work, hopefull to have it back on the road in 6 months time, for whatever reason I did not take any photos until after I repaired the front end
So here we are back in 1996
Secondhand inner wing and front panel grafted on by this stage
it was obviously the other side inner wing that had been repaired
I remember hating the motorsport tricolour stripes at the time, and removing them straight away, you can just see the remnants of them on this door, before it was replaced, but fast forward to 2010 and I think they are so cool, so unless times have changed again by the time I get round to getting it finished then they will definitely be going back on.
New back panel fitted, cost me nearly 2 weeks wages at the time
and just incase you have not seen one before this is what it is supposed to look like when it is finished
Now is that Proper 80's cool or what
At the moment the car is away being shotblasted, which it has been for a very long time now, and hence why I took on the Victor project, but I hope to have it back it the next few months, once I get the Victor back to a rolling shell, in the meantime I will keep adding photos to get you up to date
Hope there is plenty of BMW love out there
and for those that didn't you can check it out here
