Imp engine, imp gearbox, imp suspension all tied to a spaceframe chassis. Now I looked at the DVLA website and the points scheme, all of the above adds up to 9 points, so one could possibly run on the uk roads on a normal imp number plate! Dangerous thoughts!

Now I looked at the DVLA website and the points scheme Thats what I previously thought, Unfortunately not - 5 points from body is mandatory on monocoque vehicles - check out the details on the latest ACE Advice thread - clearing up a lot of misundersandings

thanks for the pic, i did a research a while ago and found out, that the chassis still exists; it is now a LeMans racer again with a DFV engine... maybe that paint scheme could be something for my Type 3....

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

It's all good, awaiting some upgrades to suspension and the intake system, all underway!
Took me ages to find a suitable replacement alternator after all the electricity leaked out on the way to RRG09! That is now sorted and in the post.
I need to - Implement the final fix on the plenum change my blower ratio fit a wastegate (yes really a wastegate, it already has a bypass valve, I have a cunning plan!) change the wideband sensor do some proper mapping enjoy it over the summer gut it and build a spaceframe!
hehe

Nice thread! Never heard of Modsports before, but I love Super Saloons! Glad to hear the Imp is still evolving, I do like that car.
