...as long as it doesn't end up looking like a hearse then it's going to be awesome! I reckon if he hadn't lengthened the front door that's what would have happened, and I'd not even considered the hearsiness until you mentioned the possibility so yet another point to getting the proportions bang on for a 2-door estate!

Just had a quick flick through while keeping one eye on my 18 month old daughter. Top work feller, loving the slanted window posts and the lenghtend doors this will keep the proportions spot on as you will be using the car as a two door wagon.
Will have a proper read later at sleep time lol and will be watching this

Ok, things just got a little bit exciting all of a sudden! I spotted some pics on Facebook, but I didn't know you'd had this for two years! This is going to be one amazing build to keep an eye on, and going on your past work, we'll have to be quick or we'll miss the progress because you sail along once you're going!

Astonishing work here, going to be a stunner. Tiny suggestion, have you thought about making the B pillar wider, like a 55-57 Nomad?
Cheers Tim

cheer's guys going on your past work, we'll have to be quick or we'll miss the progress because you sail along once you're going! it won't be as quick a project as i'd like it to be mainly due to cost on some of the parts suspension(airbags) brakes wheels and interior ect,ect .. but I am hoping to get the bulk of the body and paint done over the next few months as well as getting the new running gear in and converting the underside to take irs rear and rack and pinion front along with much more updated ifs so next few months will see quite a lot of changes but then sadly it will come to halt as I wait to build up funds to carry on with the next bit but there is no timescale as such only its done when its fully finished ;D. Astonishing work here, going to be a stunner. Tiny suggestion, have you thought about making the B pillar wider, like a 55-57 Nomad? Cheers Tim cheer's i had looked at it briefly as i was a bit shocked at just how long that rear window is and i don't quite have enough rear door window frame to complete the frame so lengthening to pillar may solve that i may try mocking up a wider pillar next time i'm down there but the rear pillar is also quite narrow so if the center one was to wide the proportions may go a little out but its a good suggestion that may work watch this space

Just read hole thread while heal a flu and fever. Some seriously fast and nice job! When there was a mention to some paint job, I was think that some candy green could suit that car and then in the next page was this! plans for it are to be a deep candy green with a bit of gold pinstriping with an off white roof with a nice bit of gold lace work and silver flake and a nice simple and clean tuck and roll interior . And after slow thinking proses, I remember Boyd's SoBe Surf Wagon. Here's some inspiration. Gonna follow this to see what looks British surf wagon .

I love this car. Glad to see progress has started again, are you still going candy green with it, and what wheels have you got planned for the finished car. cheers paul still going green not sure if it will be candy green as there are some pretty nice deep pearl greens out at the mo that look great without needing the candy and the associated curse word that comes with looking after candys but a very nice deep green is still on the cards with a contrasting roof probably a bit of flake and some detail work . wheels i have a few ideas for and have a couple of styles short listed they will be 16" front and 17" rear and either Wheel Vintiques 12 Series Smoothie or AR salt flats or something else depending on budget and what else we find

Loving the standard of the metalwork mate! Think i remember some of your cars from ozgem - you used to build Kadette C's right? Anyway, apologies in advance for posting photos in your thread, but seeing as your after a Green and being a factory GM colour makes it non-candy/less of a headache... Its called Poison Ivy, fair bit of flip depending on light

At first I was disappointed that you weren't keeping the car stock-ish, then I saw what you were doing with it.
Well now I think the factory should have done what you do. They were stupid not to, it looks great and your work is awesome!
