I just saw the videos and laughed out loud!  Slow motion laughter is truly scary! Oh, and the second video... Sadly that's what happens when you're the only polish person in Area 52. Still I didn't get it as bad as Colon did last time  It was a great weekend once again. Friday night was a lot of fun and chillout by the fire was much needed. Indeed many things exploded including a tin of refried beans and a lot of condiments Saturday was also awesome. Everyone did some work on theirs or someone else's car. It was good to see so much progress around (especially on the Fairlane  ). I somehow managed to do some work on my Polo with some great welding done by Mark (speedy88) which I'm very happy about (thanks again dude). Sorry again if I was a bit slow and stayed on the ramp for too long... The weather helped us a lot this weekend by letting everyone work on their rides in the yard. Hopefully it will only get better as Spring is finally here! Oh yeah... as I mentioned before I'm not sure if I'll be able to come any more. It's a massive shame as these weekends started to mean quite a lot to me but if life continues to go the way it does right now then I might have to disappear for some time Polish style. Anyway I hope It's not gonna happen so for now I'll see most of you next Sunday at the beach! Oh, and I left my BenzPhone at the unit so will be popping around some time this week as it desperately needs new rims and some slammage |

OH yeah completely forgot about my car being on fire I had a look after I came back and the whole polystyrene sound deadening thingy completely burnt out! It was pretty scary seeing such big flames in between two panels... Btw, that picture of burning Porsche could easily look like the real thing |

Hi All,
Ok, so without sounding a tad stupid, what is the Area 51 Play Day in April? Sounds interesting and would love some advice on my conversion project. Putting a 24v cossy engine in my MK4 Cortina. The old 2.8 cologne is on its way out so why not upgrade! First time I’ve ever done anything like this so any help and guidance most welcome. Wish I could have that yard, oh the jealousy!

Good food, some beers, playing with and working on cool old cars and having an awesome social. It's not a business, or a garage, despite appearances, so while people will be happy to chat about conversions (it's a big proportion of what we do ;D) and help where we can, I can't guarantee that that there'd be definitive advice It's not in any way cliquey, but you'll need to speak to Bruce personally (PM Mysterymachine) before you can come along. It's his space, afterall |

That’s cool, sounds like fun. Will need to see if I can get there in the first place as the motor is now slightly unreliable (that’s being modest!) then I’ll pm Bruce. Anything with beers and motors always sounds good to me (obviously not at the same time!)
