Looks like another quiet one then. Don't know what's wrong with people - it's a beautiful day, the sun is shining, it's light till about 9.30 - perfect conditions for drinking beer and talking about old cars, surely? It all fell apart after I left ;o) First Wednesday... Hmm, I'll actually be in Norwich at the beginning of July. Lets see if we can get a good group together?

If there's a reasonable gathering in store I might make a silly effort for the first Wed in July

Personally for me it's too far on a school night and money is too tight to drive a gas guzzling 735i all the way to Norfolk and back. That's why I haven't been attending anyway. If it was closer to Bury St. Edmunds we may have more attendees? There seems to be a few retro-riders from around Ipswich also.

I will go if others go, its not worth tripping over 48miles there and 48miles back to see 2 people, one of which I can see from my house So come on! come out and say hi!!! you don't need a retro ride!!!!!it never has been or will be a requirement to have a retro ride to attend, you are the member here, not the car! just bring your self and chat about motors, thats what its all about I won't be up in my retro, sorry- but then neither do you! so I'm in. its this wednesday coming- who else is in?

I'll be trundling down. If it looks like there's going to be a reasonable gathering I might even break out something old and interesting.

'Fraid I won't be coming this month. I'm picking up some parts tonight in West London and will drop by the Ace instead. I know August will be out too. Maybe Sept.

I still haven't made it yet I'm ashamed to say, Wednesdays are nightmare for me as I'm neither at work until 7pm or starting work at 7pm depend what shift pattern I'm on or the Wednesday i am of isn't on the first Wednesday of the month.
I've always thought the Orwell crossing truck stop in Ipswich would make a good meet point, cafe with beer on tap, lots of parking and a outside sitting area right on the A14 (Although i would say that being that it's only 10 minutes from my house!)

Who else is coming along to this? If it looks like a decent turnout i'll shift my German lesson and have a look along!

If it looks like it's going to be a half-decent turnout this month I'll see if I can break out the Renner Six. Otherwise I'll be in the Saab or something dull and Korean.

The very first meet I went to had a stonkingly good turnout, the pics of which went on here . It was a brilliant evening! I'm not the most outgoing of people so the more people that turnout the more i can, sort of mingle..... IF my Scimitar behaves, i might be able to pop down.....

If you finish at 7 you should be able to make it up to the Larling by 8 surely? You can have your tea at the Angel - they do a cracking Scotch egg.
