Just how much work this took....?? Aircooled, Rear engined Golf. Front end, tank and spare wheel. Wow. I wasn't a fan of this at all when the first few pictures sneaked out, and I have to admit I still don't get it, but wow. The fit and finish looks incredible.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

We also saw this down in the carpark. NO RUST ! ! ! CLEAN, CLEAN , CLEAN !!!! A few small dents on the one side, but when last did you see such a clean UNRESTORED Transit ?? Rear end.... Note the bumper mounted sirens, and the blue light on top. Very neat, I would be very happy to roll in that. Bryn's, I believe.

^^^ that's lovely tomarse, lovely stance Thanks. ;D It was late nights down the barn all week to get the shock extensions finished. Worth it though as it meant that now I can lay the beam on the ground literally. It was an absolutely amazing show as always. I always come away wanting to get straight to work on the project and looking forward to next years show when there WILL be more out-of-the-box creativity. ;D

A fine choice MrTiki... That was voted car of the show, came over from Sweden I think. Although it did say Amboy, NJ on the info sheet. Thomas Koch I think the guy is called. He also won Kinky Micks CROWN, a cut up 15in Fuch with huge fake diamond in the top... The Marathon was epic too, loads of work you just can't see in the pictures and that got visitors choice, so lots of people agreed on that one. Was really good to see everybody ;D, and I'm hoping HTW took a picture of the art nouveau inspired 50 split window Beetle, I'll take a look at the blog later to see. That was probably my car of the show, but everywhere you looked there was quality. It was kinda cool for me, because I haven't been in eight years so everything was new. Traders had travelled from Taiwan, all over Europe and the States. It goes to show we have a world class show on our doorstep... ;D And yes... The Transit is mine, and yes I did get the 'wrong show' comments shouted at me Water. Ducks. Back. Next year I may even take something VW, it's inspired me to dig out my buggy, or finally ship my van back from NZ. Uh oh... I feel another project coming on ;D
