Ten were like the Nakamichi of the 70's and 80's, real quality top end kit.

Wow, that's completely nuts. An Austin 1800 SPL comp car?! On wide Daytons with a madly wrong offset? I'm nearly speechless with amazement!

Landcrabs have never looked so good.
I like the description of your radio/ cassette.
'Electronic' as opposed to . . . big glass valves? Clockwork? Steam power?

^^ I had one of them graphics in a mk5 cortina in 1989. Hooked it up to a panasonic radio/cassette so I could run 4 speakers. Saisho was a Dixons own brand (I think) Doc.. Electronic usually refers to the radio tuner (ie Voltage synthesis rather than string and a variable capacitor ) rather than the whole radio itself. Having said that, I'd swear I've had radios that were powered by mice (going purely on the noise and output quality)

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
