My sincere condolences.
I always enjoyed the updates.
It would be great to see the car finished as a tribute to Em - I'd be willing to help any way I can.

It is great to see so many thoughtful comments - I will be sure to pass them on.
I know that Em had been lining someone up to finish the Herald for him but ran out of time to sort out the parts/garage to send it off. A couple of us will be speaking with his girlfriend in the coming days/weeks as I know she wanted to keep both it and the Commer. The Commer is actually not far off an MOT as Em had already done most of the work necessary so I suspect we'll get that roadworthy fairly quickly and then more plans can be made.

Send me a PM if you think I can help in any way. I can't help in person since I'm in Norway but maybe some other way might be possible.

It was good to see this back at the top of my bookmark page, until I saw Seth's update.

So sad to lose Em. In real life he was a really nice, genuine guy and though I've only known him a couple of years I'm going to miss him a lot.
Seth, Paul H and I attended his funeral today and Seth said some really nice words including some of the replies from you guys. I thought it was very nice to be able to tell his family and friends that he was so loved and admired by the community on here.

Just read this thread from the start over my last few lunchbreaks as I have recently bought a 1200 and I'm so sorry the thread ended like this.
Sorry to bump an old thread but I wanted to echo the thoughts of others about the skill and humour Em shared. Thanks Em - you will clearly be missed by many.
