Friday midlands convoy (early set off)

After last years convoy attempt I am setting up another for anyone going down from the midlands area, this year however I am planning on setting off earlier so we get more time Friday and maybe a better pitch.

Proposed idea.

Setting off from Nottingham @ 10/11am pref 10

If we say the first meet point to be at tamworth services @ 10:30.

Ideally after the J2 stop we should have collected everyone for this convoy and we can just blast down.

TBH I aint got a clue, it should be a 20min stop max stop at Tamworth then a steady run. When I say steady run @ this rate of I cant fix the GT 55MPH lol,

If the trip to Santa Pod was anything to go by 80% of the trip down will be fine. It seems to be an issue with fueling or the ignition when the car gets really warm.

i second that idea becuase my Cav has a habit of spitting the dummy out a lot!
don't think we will be meeting you at the tamworth stop becuase its kinda out of the way.. alot lol! if you guys set off from nottingham at 10 and are stopping for 20 mins at tamworth would you say 1200 at frankley services (junction 5-6 I think of m5) would be reasnable

To be honest the Tamworth stop is above where I'd join, so I'm thinking of getting to a services further down and asking for a phone call when they get a couple of miles off

I don't know why I thought 20mins, I probably was just going by what happened last year. As we are only meeting 1 person there I would say its just going to be a quick stop. I can call whoever if need be, I will have to note it down as knowing me I will forget.

Just don't wanna make too many stops like last year as it took an age to arrive.
