First I apologise for the lateness as ever. its been a long time as I am soo busy in the workshop (now slowed down a bit). This all happened on the last bank holiday weekend of may. It started as I, 1) I had an invite to go to 2 stroke day at gaydon and being as I have a two stroke car it would have been rude not too. 2) I needed to pick a head up from dugong that he had kindly collected for me. then I had a gearbox to pick up not-really-on route but hey and Jon suggested we do capesthorne hall on the BHM. The three shows are the 2 stroke day, metro day also at gaydon and capesthorne hall. Big thanks to Jon for putting me up for the night and a wee trip outside alty in his awesome ovlov So it was gaydon-milton keynes-warrington-macclesfield-home. done 90 litres of juice and had some seriously cool things go on. started with the wart running like a sod saturday and sinking 5 litres of fuel in 7 miles because the ignition decided to unseat itself. think I fixxed it. sunday monring it drove a bit funny to beaconsfield services where it made a full-on terrorist alert sized backfire! after that it was faultless! lots of waves and curious stares along the entire roadtrip, including an 09 plate cayman S slowing down in the outside lane, drawing back level with me and giving me the thumbs up I think we need some pics about now.....

imposing. NSX was an auto! never knew they made them! 4 seat-ish rari. its low and now turbo'd. being an MGC, its technically an westminster coupe, not a sherpa coupe back to the seventies!!

mmmm. like! I remember mysterymachine taking a stupendous shot of a bonnet pin once, so I thought I'd give it a go too to finish, I took these as I passed jodrell bank on the way home. in 1957 it succesfully tracked sputnik and the rocket that propelled it into orbit. a few years later but I'm some bit slower eastern bloc tat for it to follow ;D ;D and thats about the end of my mamoth roadtrip. 13odd hours on the road out of 40, just plain good times enjoy folks

Awesome vehicles Remember Gates of Harlow (I think ) converting the 6R4's to road cars when I was there at college. They used to rip them up the dual carriageway for test runs What a fantastic noise
