I am meant to be moving house the weekend and travelling this far for a no show and upsetting the mrs really aint a good look.

Time for a bump as its this weekend coming & theres a few of us that have said a definite yes like me,B8D &Grunty & i know MysteryMachine(Bruce) will also be attendance so get your names down & turn up as its a really good day there judging from the 2 i attended last year on the beach!! ;D

As I am no only down the road it would be really rude if I didnt attend. As long as I am not looking at houses I will be there - give me a chance to give the Corolla a run.

Exactly how savage are the speed bumps / entrance to the beach? Ground clearance isnt my cars strong point!

SWMBO's dipped out, so I'll be there in the Van Of Doom, with camera in tow.

Use the main beach entrance opposite Unity Farm. there are speedramps but when Rodit and I went down there last year in his slammed Corrado (which was low enough to scoop up half a ton of seaweed when we drove along the beach) we just drove round them with no problems.

Tide tables indicate that High Tide is at 0715, so by the time we decend on the place there will be plenty of parking available on the beach.

Last year there was a burger van on site. I would imagine that this will be the case this year too (especially with it being Half Term) but there's no ifo on Sedgemoor DC's website.

There's an active Beach Patrol in a 4x4. Anyone caught hooning about on the sand WILL be escorted off. They watched us VERY carefully last year! ;D

Latest from Met Office: Sunny, 10c with 10mph wind from the North. Wrap up warm, folks.

my mk1 didn't do too bad over the speed bumps either but like BD said you can edge around them a bit

Spot on, Al. Actually I'll knock up the flyer for BP4 now, and start the thread early. It'll be good to have something to look forward to!
