Porsche 924 proving once again they don't need much to look pretty good.
Interesting take on the Mercedes there, sort of a resto-chop.
Loving that Saab, you've got it spot on I reckon and the rust in peace picture is an excellent idea, I hadn't thought of that side of things.
Right, I'm going to do the old announcing of theme at the end of the month for the following month, so sometime between the 29th and 31st of October I'll announce something to work to for November.

1935 Austin 18, before. After I know I've already posted this on another thread, but hey, I put so much time into it, I want to get a bit of mileage out of it! regards, DW

Right, I've got a spare minute so I thought I'd best announce November's suggested theme before I forget. Here's a clue. Nissan Bluebird - coupéd keeping original roof profile, de-locked, BMW alloys, colour coded bumpers, lowered and Japanese murals. The theme is Bird Names. If you're stuck for ideas on that score, try Humber Hawk, Humber Super Snipe, Reliant Robin, Ford Falcon, Plymouth Roadrunner, Suzuki Swift and Buick Skylark to get you going. JustFran: Your chops make it clear just how big those old Passats are. I've had the Manic Street Preachers' song Tsunami stuck in my head while making this update.

Is there a limit to how many photoshops you can post for the theme?

Not so retro. And not very bird themed. But here's the original picture (Ford Fiesta 2006 x2) I hope my version is better?

foxy: It's a suggested theme, if nobody takes it up that's fine. However, I must say your Buick looks quite tasty. @etorrebuggati: 2-toned coupés will pretty much always get my seal of approval, and retro Frenchies are one of my favourites. @volvo544: The Fiesta is a hateful little car to look at (not to bad to drive as a modern) but you made me like it. Good take on the bird name theme and a pretty neat end result. bobo: liking the Mk1 squareback there, but then I am bias in that regard

One question, Volksangyl... How do you feel about moderns in this thread? Allowed or for retros only? Here's a hyundai Genesis I did (if you don't want to see more moderns, I will stop posting them).

I'd prefer it if we stick to retros and classics, but I won't begrudge the occasional modern. Just trying to keep things on topic really.
