Retro Rides in the WRC

Hi all.

I own a Skoda Felicia rallycar. Earlier this year it had a little mishap...



so I've just bought a replacement bodyshell from the driver of this beast:



He's the author of the very detailed Skoda Rally Blog, and is contesting Wales Rally GB this year in his Felicia.

He preps the car himself and runs it from a garage in his garden, with a great deal of effort spent on developing what would otherwise be a really uncompetitive car. It's an old-fashioned approach, which is a dying art in rallying at international level.
The comittment is impressive - it reminds me of some of the stuff I've seen on here. It's the Retro Rides spirit!


He's selling advertising space on his car to raise funds, so I thought... How cool would it be to have the RetroRides logo on his car!!!

His cheapest space is £50, so if me and 9 other people bung him a fiver each we can get infront of a huge audience. Anyone interested?

Has he competed in Rally GB before? Specifically 2008 in this beast...........

Just noticed the numberplate, so yes, I'm assuming it is the same guy!

I've seen him both years I've been, makes me chuckle everytime we see him at a different stage as we took one to poland on a ramchakle rally ok it was a Favorite lol I fell in love with that car hated leaving it in a car park in poland ready for the scrapper.

OK so if all the rugular users on here pitched in 50p via paypal to the mods and they purchased the space how much car could we cover with prints and wording from gathering t shirts etc

I've just bought a space on the boot of his Skoda for my car leasing website after reading this thread. Robg2, he owes you a pint.
I'd rather give the money to him than give it to google for a months pay per clicks.
