It is sad that this thread won't be finished but you never know - the van might be.
Just read the full listing on Ebay and it's spot-on. Covers all bases, very honest and also adds info I wasn't aware of such as the fact all the original bits including cupboards were carefully stored.
The fact that the bodywork is complete must be a huge selling-point

I enjoyed this build immensely. Yeah. I did as well... As did I, I've always had a soft spot for flat fronted campers. I'm sure it was a difficult decision and it's always sad to have to accept a started project won't get finished but I'd much rather see them sold than languishing untouched for years. Looks like it brought a reasonable sum so good for the seller and also good for the van. Here's hoping the new owner resumes the thread and it hits the road soon.
