I can't put my finger on it but there's something not doing it for me. I think it's the polished rims against the very bright red bodywork; in some photos it looks like a very wide white band tyre, which is slightly visually jarring. It's not that; the tyre choice is all wrong. Compare the whel centre on the E21s in the two pictures; if the car in the second pic was lowered to such an extent (or even to the level of the otherwise-standard E21 in the background, the effect would be near-perfect. It's details like that that make or break a car.   Now with a little PSP-slamming:  |

Me too  I really like the shape of the E21, a mate had a 323i when I had my first Cortina. I was well jealous  I agree about the rear camber on some lowered ones, didn't realise it could be corrected though so that makes a difference I guess. I'd roll it though |

That's perfect in my opinion, I like the fact they've deleted the rear plastic grille around the boot lock, it looks much cleaner for it. All the better for being a povo spec 316 ;D And is it me or are the seats brown for even more grooviness? I don't think they are, I think they're grey. E21s did however come with chocolate brown interior, of which I've only ever seen one and it's the best interior colour I've seen! That interior is immaculate though... Hide those bbs wheels when I'm moochin around mate, otherwise the ally jacks out!! The E21 is simply stunning, a back to basics car which screams "OI, OI"!! and the black un is a vision of beauty., both are a true credit to the owners. |
