Need some help here... Does this seats can be recoverable??? They are from a volvo 340 and will they suit/fit my volvo 164??? I know that they aren't red but I think that they are just well used and with a leather restoration they would become like new... Post what you think here...

Those seats can defiantly be sorted with some Leather repair know-how, they don't look ripped. There are lots of companies that do professional repairs on seats, they spray the seats with a flexible vinyl paint of some kind. Someone on here with a MK1 MR2 had some leather seat repairs and it looked amazing once done. I will try and find their thread.... here we are; retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=readersrides&action=display&thread=86783&page=1Down the bottom of the thread Personally on my seats if I get a worn patch I use black shoe polish which usually works a treat but I'm not sure if that's the best way to do it

Thanks for the info and the link... It seems that they are salvagable and they become cheap considering that they bring a whole car included... They are on a Volvo 340 1.4 from 1985 with docs and MOT till next month for 450€... I will go see her next weekend...

Little update... Bought some plywood for the back seat and for the door cards... Got my self a working Volvo CR-901 radio with the most wanted extra amp. from my Volvo 340. It was only missing the anti-theft code that I sourced a code calculator on the web and via the diods I discover the actual code... Now I have a working car radio, some leather seats that needs some big cleaning job and some small repairs and a Volvo 340 B14E just for some fun... Almost look good enough to salvage but it doesn't have any dent free panels... So started to strip it down only to the bear essentialls... I think something is missing here... Not even the gas tanks has survived the dent car-nage... But then again I was only to make it worst so I welded the diff for the second time, since the first time it broke a tooth and kept rolling like nothing had happened but the second time I included some inforcements just incase... Welded a '85 Toyota Corolla Dx passager seat to it and now it's my drift practise car... Now I just need some boxes of these to become a actual drifter...

Help!!!!!!! What wires I have to connect to test an Apexi S-AFC?!?!? Just to see if it is working because a friend gave me one that was working a couple of years ago and I'd like to test it before I put it on my daily... I've connected red to + and black to - from a battery, the button lights come on but nothing else...

Who wants some pics?!?!?!? Me! At last someone wants some pics... Thanks Jossen... Here is the plywood for the door cards and back seat... I cleaned and mounted the relay holder and relay's... washer bottle and motor... and of course the engine wiring loom... Windscreen wiper motor, mechanism and wires... Mounted the bonnet, fenders and front panel... It's been ages since I 've seen the front all together... Just mounted to see some clearences... It doesn't look bad... ;D New steering rubber coupler/joint ... Hand break leaver installed... Passed the wiring harness to the back through the correct place and mounted the rubber cover... The back wiring still in the back seat place... Placed the dash and heater box in place just to see what goes where, should'ave done it when I was disassembling it so could mount it faster but that's life... The heater box was fully dismantled and now is clean and working... Installed the fuse holder and wires with new fuses... Installed the vacuum reservoir... The ''new'' passager seat... Still awaiting its recovery process... The ''new'' driver seat foams... The driver seat leather already washed waiting for its restoration... If anyone wants more just let me know...
