I've been sick this weekend, so I wasn't really up for anything too hardcore. I'm struggling with the X2010, the wheel wobbles all over the place on the straights, and it's impossible to get any feedback on what the car it doing. One corner it's on rails, the next you're thrown into the Kitty litter. One for B-Spec grinding methinks.
The OCD is a lot better now, picked up a 71 Datsun 240, and ran a bunch of TGTT hotlaps in my FF cars to see which is best for a given PP, power or handling. I also picked up a stock Swift to do some SIAPRC laps, but it's a lot quicker than the Ce'ed.
Has any used the Mt. Aso course yet? There's scope for some very nice Alpine/Isle of Man/West of Ireland style courses, loads of dips and yumps, should be good craic!

Bought a right shed load of retro's last night when I realised the online event prise money would have been wasted as I was at 19.8mill again. I now have the Jaguar 1988 Lemans car and the 1992 Pug 905, as well as the RS200 Rally Car, happy days The X2010 with the wheel is the only way to drive it, it does wander at speed, you just need to grip onto it a bit harder

Damn, that E-type is delicious! Perfect colour, did you paint the wheels? The only retro photo I've taken recently was this, to see if there was any real change in Std models since the 1.0.6 patch. I don't think they have been tweaked, though some people on GTpla.net claim they have. You may recognise my birthday car… Also found a few of its baby brother that I'd taken a while ago:

Not really, unless you used the Thumbnail view in the Garage, and snapped a photo of that?

I'd love to get my hands on a macro recorder that I could connect through the USB port, it would make batch operations like that so much easier. Sometimes I miss PC gaming And as I was looking through an old imageshack account for some old VW pics I found these GT4 shots. I guess the RUF I built wasn't my first attempt It'll be interesting to compare these pics with some GT5 photos:

Ah, well, if we're talking GT4 photos... A couple of old RUFs for your viewing pleasure.

Sweet, though I'd move back or zoom out a bit for the miniature pics, it doesn't work as effectively on closeups.

I managed to get to 20 mill, and I blew it all on this, before realising I could win it in B-spec… Still, at least I got a couple of trophies out of it… I also took this, there's a timetrial comp on octane with this car. I'd been avoiding it until now, but it's a great steer right out of the box.

It's for Indy 500 Endurance. I don't think I even qualify for it yet.
BTW anyone else see that they've limtied gifting cars to under a million credits?
