here for sale is my bmw 318 convertible.
Its E36 facelift model, 1998 S reg, in dark metallic blue
its done 99,000 miles but will go up as I am using the car daily.
the car is in good condition, the roof is fully automatic, and more importantly is in full working order, had a brand new rear screen bout 4 months ago at the cost of £250. The roof its self is in good condition, it does have 2 small and I mean small holes in but does not effect the roof, its water tight with no leaks.
The car itself is totally standard, had no modifications done to it what so ever, its got standard 15 inch bmw alloys in great condition think theres only 1 thats slightly kurbed. its has front and rear fog lamps. There is a dint in the drivers side quarter but again not very noticeable and has never bothered me. The car is 12 years old so there is the odd car park ding and scratch. There is 2 small rust patches, one on the rear just under the light and one just on bottom of the door but they are very minor and not very noticeable.
On the inside it has full artic silver bmw leather, great condition, a bit of wear on the drivers bolster but hasnt got through. bmw obc unit, if I'm right its the 8 buttoned unit, fully electric windows and electric mirrors, cd player, heated rear screen, power steering, abs, asc, bmw grey leather arm rest, fully working remote central locking with bmw locky unit, all again in fully working order. Also has the original bmw torch, in the glove box and by the looks of it a full bmw tool kit in the boot. You may see in the pics there is a kidney missing, don't worry it has two kidneys in just these pic were taken when some theiving git nicked one.
Now to the service history, when I bought the car beginning of the summer I was told it had full service history but the owner before me had left the service book at the previous garage when they had it serviced, when they went back months later for it they were told it was thrown away by the garage, so as a good will gesture they bought them a new one. not sure if this is true but I do have the new book and the car did come with a stack of invoices and reciepts and comes with a full bmw book pack, so you can make your own mind up. The dealer I boguht it off also did a full serivce on the car so it has all the green bars and has had 4 new tyres bout 500 miles ago. The car drives fantastic and is great in the summer. its just flown through its m.o.t last month so it has 12 months on it, and just put 6 months tax so if I get offered the right price the tax will stay with it. I'm the 7th owner and enjoyed every minute of it, but unfortuantley ive got back to uni and I cant afford to run it. The vechicle is situated in sheffield and I will put some pictures up on the rust, dint and the interior when ive got time.
