yep hence why when the vectra replaced the cavalier it was known as the Vectra B. The cavalier was the vectra A same with the nova and corsa. Nova was the corsa A.

Hmmm
I know you all don't like any negativeness on here but I have to say Vectras are one of my most hated cars. I cannot see any redeeming features with them and they are even worse than the usual repmobile stuff in that they have always for me had a chaavy element to them.

I know you all don't like any negativeness on here.... so why post then? I don't like most vectras either, but this forum is all about making the unacceptably mundane cars cool, getting them noticed and giving them that "x factor" that makes cars cool. have a potatochop on me

The mirrors! ;D No, I'm serious, these have the best looking mirrors on just about any modern, 'cos they look like they're part of the car rather than just being stuck on. It's like it's grown ears! ;D

I always thought the GSi looked pretty tough, and they certainly look no worse than any of their contemporaries .

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

TBH, I opened this thread thinking ' Cool Vectras? What next? Dry water? ' but then I saw this, and I think I could be persuaded!

Well, never having driven a Vectra, I have only seen the mirrors from the outside so I've no idea if they managed form and function! ;D

I think this thread proves 4 things.
1. There are very few awesome Vectras. 2. They aren't held in high regard.....yet 3. They have potential. 4. They respond to the treatment well.
Come on, someone make an amazing one for 2011 while prices are still bangernomics-cheap.

If you're wondering when a modern car is 'acceptable' on RR and can't tell why that Astra would be allowed then I guess you never will. Put me out of my misery-why? It looks like an Astra with wheels; I've just spent far too long searching for interesting mk4 Astras with little success.
