This is uber awesome! Early Italian 126 in such great state! I'm getting more and more tempted to bring one over from the land of many Poles but it's nearly impossible to find an Italian one. Great find! (mind you the price is completely bonkers for what it is imho )

I dunno, the price is high but it's totally restored and looks to be done really well. I'm not sure what the market is like for these little Fiats, but if I had the money and wanted one as a totally sorted classic urban runabout I'd be tempted!

Ok just to show you what I mean: otomoto.pl/fiat-126-C17054117.html96000km 1st owner since 1977 742 Euro no rust, stored in a garage and treated regularly. Guy says it doesn't need any repairs or any money put into it. It's ready to roll (slowly )

Spend some time with Google Toolbar's website translator and you'll realise how many empty lorries/car transporters go from Poland to England every day... Most modern(ish) cars are a lot cheaper in the UK than anywhere else in EU. People come here all the time to pick 'write offs' or even complete cars to take them back for parts or conversions (you can't register a RHD car in Poland). My mate is on the look for a cheap Scooby Turbo and he'll be coming to pick it up as soon as he finds one. Do you think I can fit 2 126's on 1 trailer?

I'd say the price is quite good, considering this is just as cool as a bug but you won't see one at every show. And look at how much a decent bug goes for now

I think it's lovely and in my opinion it looks like it is worth that money all day long. No cruiser but for a city run around with oodles of character it makes a lot of sense. The 126 has really aged well now I reckon.

I see a lot of them over in Hungary and they are sold for scrap prices.

For the work and money that looks to have gone into it I think that's a good price for a cool little car.
