What Jon told me is that it was a "show" toy, meaning that it was only to fool around as it was a piece of scrap with cool suspension. Finding a solid one and making it into a proper "piece of odd" would be real kool. Shape lends itself well like the slammed Commers. Show toy? Pah! I used that to commute to University from Guildford to Cambridge twice a week. 180 mile round trip at 45mph max speed. It obviously died, the damn thing was pretty much made of dexian even before I ruined it.

LOL Didnt mean it that way. Lets say, all comodities have been replaced in favour of style. Which style is another chapter

Haha, still worth doing it though yeah? One of the funniest cars i've ever witnessed.
I might need to pick all the old lowrider guys brains at some point, the Olds me and KFW are getting wont be complete in my mind till it's at least juiced on the front.

Which style is another chapter Haha, yeah... to be fair, Jon was right though - it was utterly rubbish in every way (except going up and down - it was quite good at that). Oh, and the hammock strung up in the back was useful on occasion. There was absolutely no style in that thing though. Nope, none. I think most of my cars of that time were seen as an embarrassment to Unity. Anyway, back to some pictures of unusual lowriders. . .

Monza is too funny, i see lots of potential thou. The Vega was an Imperial ride from late 70s, and one of my dream builds, that or a pinto.

Monza is too funny, I see lots of potential thou. Funny? Potential? Admittedly, it's lacking in lots of the lowrider must-haves, but I'd not be calling it unfinished or unworthy of praise as it is. Ready for a feature in Lowrider? No. Ready for some fun and cruising about whilst looking awesome? Definitely.

Pinto lowrider? Close enough. Ford Escort "Christine", a 1949 Hudson Brougham Jags. This actually makes a lot of sense as a Lowrider choice, so much so I'm surprised I haven't seen them used more often. Likewise, Rolls are a plentiful option for a base vehicle and make a lot of sense for this treatment. Most of the above were found on this thread, be warned it's about 50% picture quoting so it can take a while to wade through for some good content.

But black wheels and black tires on a car with hydraulics don't go togheter too well, unless they're super deep and the rubber is stretched. So, yeah, with a few minor touches it could blow minds. And I'm all for odder than odd juiced cars.
