I had the RAC out today for my M reg Fiat Uno 1.4 (1372cc) after refusing to start on more than one occassion, as it still would not start when he arrived he found the problem quite quick, he took off the air filter housing and looked to see if there was any fuel spray when turning the key, with a tap of the hand on top of the spi unit it worked for a short time, then stoped.
So I need a S.P.I. Unit for a M reg 1372cc Fiat Uno.
I have looked around but I can't find anything on the net, does this have to be a Fiat Dealer part then ?
Took it off this morning at work, it's a BOSCH system, came off quite well, but had to take the bottom part off as well, as I was not sure if it came apart, not sure if the RAC ment just replace the top part with 4 wires going into a block connector, screwed down ontop of the injector body (if you can get it) or the hole top half with a alu. round body with a petrol inlet and (outlet (air?)
I have broken two black plastic clips that seem to hold the top and bottom have together (with bolts), but I can't see what they do
So you have till Monday, it will need to be trailered away as it will not run.
