Currently my Midget's dash has seen better days. Although it is not too bad, it does have paint flaking off it, and looks like it could be tidied up. Here is the Dash. Currently the centre part is sprayed in Hammerte Stonechip (still flaking off), while the outer part is Crackle:
However I have a few ideas of how to go about it. Well in particular, 3 ideas.
1) Respray the dash in it's original crackle finish. This should look nice and original, and If I am correct, it's the easiet option out of the rest.
2) Respray the dash in the colour of the car (Rover Nightfire Red). I have a few cans of Nightfire Red as well as an Airless spraygun (My Binks one is useless thanks to some theiving scum who pinched our Compressor). I also have the laquer, but would need to buy the primer. What primer would you guys reccomend for painting the dash?
I'm considering just painting the centre part of the dash (I.e the part which contains all the gauges, and most of the switchgear), so keeping the outside part of the dash in the original crackle finish. Here's an example of one in the folowing link:

3) Flock the Dash. It's a option I've considered, but how expensive are the materials and is it possible to it yourself. Like Option two, I am considering just painting the centre part of the dash, thus possibly retaining the crackle finish on the rest of the dash.
Any other sensible options I would also appreciate .
