Don't suppose both these engines share the same valve sizes? Got a fried B230 head with good valves, and a B200 with a failed cambelt and suspected shafted valves... I'm sure you can see where this is going - am I barking up the right tree? Thanks for any advice

I think they are the same, though I also seem to remember something about a stelite (sp?) coating on turbo valves (something about heat transfer?)
Also bear in mind the you should check the valve guides and new valve stems for clearance/wear.

Cheers for the reply - I've heard that the turbo has sodium filled and stellite coated exhaust valves.. this wouldn't be a problem as I'd be looking to put turbo valves into an NA engine. Guide wear etc isn't a major concern as the car belongs to a customer of the old man's (who never looks after it, hence suspected bent valves due to cambelt failure) and we're just looking for the most economical way of getting it going again. Would appreciate any more thoughts; I suspect the head will be coming off the 2.0 tomorrow so we'll know for sure then anyway

Just incase anyone's interested, the 2.3 turbo valves did fit the 2.0 NA head
