For a little while the 5th gear on the Scudo has been jumping out of gear, but today i changed into 3rd and the clutch pedal only came halfway up. I stopped the van and restarted it and everything was okay for 5 minutes.
It then started making a loud 'EEEEEE' noise every times i pressed the clutch right down. I can still change gear though.
Also the noise doesnt happen if i put the clutch only part of the way in (and still change gear).
So i have reading on the web that it might be - clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, or clutch release bearing. Any ideas what it might be?

My (very limited) experience says release bearing.

Check your fluid level - prob low; indicating a potential leak. Top it up -pedal usually comes back -giving you time to diagnose, acquire, sort.

IMO two unrelated problems here 1. jumping out of gear in fifth could be the fifth gear synchro hub is worn, or maybe the fifth gear has become loose on the shaft. On some boxes there is sometimes an inspection plate that you can unbolt to take a look - might be worthwhile looking for that, else it's possible a dismantle of the box, or just chuck in a new (secondhand) one. 2. Clutch pedal not coming all the way up sounds like a Master cylinder seal failure, simple to cure unless the bore is worn, but if it is and a replacement is not available you can get them resleeved in S/Steel. The squeal is most likely clutch release bearing. Just my two pennorth George
