What better way to spend a gloriously sunny Sunday morning than to get together for the monthly F.U.C.E.M Meet at the Limes Cafe for a Full English and a look around some retro motors.
Usually when the weather's good we get less numbers, but we still did well considering that we also clashed with Newark Autojumble this weekend.
I got a text from Alistair this morning saying he couldn't make it, so it was down to me to take photos for the F.U.C.E.M website. I normally take my camera but often end up gassing / eating / poking holes in my car instead of taking photos!
^ The line-up
^ Mick the Cabbie's lovely 'Yota.
^ I love the look of this. Simple but effective!
^ I didn't manage to get an outside shot of ChrisT's brutal-looking Manta, but here's the heart of the beast!
^ That's three Limes meets in a row, and the third meet this week for the Bond. Must be some sort of record! I'm starting to enjoy driving it now that I've built some confidence in it. I won't jinx it though...
^ Nice big bumper GTI
^ On-site repairs...
^ BGTMidget's Capper
^ Lovely Honda! Donttellhimpike was rather excited, I heard.
^ Really tidy 2000, nice talking Triumphs with the owner.
^ Lizardking's chariot.
I had a great time, really good to see everyone. Thanks to Alex Lizardking for his hospitality at his place and the loan of the drill bit too.
