[Did someone mention the B!tchKarlt Is that a reference to my favourite (and sadly deceased) motoring writer, heck favourite writer of ANY kind, Russell Bulgin? I LOVED his MaxCarlt 170-on-the-autobahn article in CAR.

carlton was in for a power boost valve, took about 6 hours, had to remove both plenums and stuff to get to it.
the other cool thing is that we are parked right on a roundabout, one of them roundabouts that when i first went round it i thought 'hmmm, i could go very sideways around this roundabout' ;D
as you can imagine a lot of the cool cars practise whati thought on this roundabout, and i have a perfect view of this from my desk ;D ;D

I haven't seen as much retro cool as you lot but... Over the past few weeks I have seen in the work car park: 70s Le Mans cars, DBR9, Aerial Atom, Triumph 2000, Nismo Nissan 350Z, 30s Bugatti, various Porka's and prancing horses, Dodge Ram, G wagon AMG, R1s and GSXRs, new M5, R400 Caterham, McLaren F1 GTR, Honda whizz kid, MGB, BMW 2002, Beetle, 740i...

carlton was in for a power boost valve, took about 6 hours, had to remove both plenums and stuff to get to it. I trust that they know what they are doing but........ If it's being fitted cos it's been chipped and is running lean it won't make a squits worth of difference... the injectors run at very very close to 100% duty cycle now - maximum bhp from the std injectors is 415 bhp - power gained by turning up the boost is done at the expense of detonation which cracks the head...... If it's being done cos of hesitations and missing - heads cracked already!! Anyone in the club knows that so that answers why I didn't recognise the plate!!

Even worse unless he wants to turn it down ;D Lotus Carlton parts avaliability from Vauxhall or Opel if you pop the head gasket............. Cyl heads NLS Headbolts NLS Head Gaskets NLS Front timing cover Gaskets NLS I'm sure you get the picture - Lotus capped em at 377 (well actually 400 for 30 secs and then 377 after that) for a very good reason............
