UK car, MoT until August 2011, 5 months tax, 125k miles, 3k miles since last MoT. Logbook is in my name and address.
18" Wolfrace Mantis alloy wheels with four good 215/35/18 tyres. Wheels are intended for this car, (these are NOT multi-fit) with correct wheel nuts, including locking nuts fitted. The wheels sit correctly on the hubs with no adaptors needed. Perfect offset as well. All four centre caps fit tightly.
Cone air filter and a Remus back box are also fitted. Calipers painted red. Stereo is a Ripspeed CD/tuner with MP3 and USB inputs that sounds absolutely bloody amazing. This is the best sounding car stereo I've had for a very long time. Electric aerial works as it should.
Interior is clean and tidy, all electrics work. Car has electric windows, mirrors, sunroof, central locking, driver's airbag, alarm and immobiliser (factory fitted).
Exterior in very good condition, just the odd very light mark here and there. Absolutely no rust and no dents. In the photographs, there is a gap between the offside skirt and sill. The skirt was loose and needed re-fixing. I've sorted this out, all panel gaps are good. Great looking car, perfect colour and wheel combo.
Engine fires first time, sounds sweet. Just had oil and filter change. No idea when the cambelt was done, but 3S-GE engines are "safe", so if the belt snaps the engine does not suffer damage. Clutch is light and bites nice and low. Five speed manual box is sweet with no crunching. Suspension is perfect, with no knocks or rattles. Car drives straight, does not pull or wander. Despite the very low profile tyres, the ride is quite smooth and only becomes unsettled if you go over a big bump or pothole. The tyres are quite noisy, extent of noise depending on road surface. New front pads fitted last week.
With 173BHP, this is quite a fast car, if you like that sort of thing. I am not into speed (I bought the car for its looks and dynamics) but I do enjoy the 35MPG fuel economy. Being a Toyota, it starts first time, every time and runs sweet. To the best of my knowledge the car is in great condition and does not require any repairs.
Insurance has been cheap for me, but bear in mind that I am 37, with a clean licence, full NCB and live in an insurance friendly postcode area. PLEASE CHECK THAT YOU CAN INSURE THIS CAR BEFORE OFFERING A SWAP.
As far as what I want:
Your car must have a manual gearbox.
I don't like small cars.
Your car must have a decent MoT and some tax.
No projects or rats please.
I have some spare cash if you think your car is worth more than mine.
I live in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, 10 mins from M40 J2. I can meet half way but would rather not have to drive half way to Scotland only to be told that you thought this was a five door.
Please PM me or call me on 07921 861 249.
