I'm in the process of painting my car with the old Rustoleum/roller and I've done the bonnet in a matt black finish with some other paint.Bonnets looking well mean but I don't want it to look like a pile of curse word the first time I get it wet,is there anything to put on top of matt paint to protect the finish but not give a shine?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Anchor Wax CLICK HEREWarm it up a bit (leave it in the sun) then put it through one of those fence sprayer things. Other than that, there's not a lot you can do. My Delica is running straight matt paint, did it nearly a year ago, it's been through some proper abuse (more than most cars go through in a lifetime) and it's still looking good. No treatment, not been touched since I painted it.

Was thinking about a wax, something that will protect it and make it easier to clean.Might give the bees wax a go.Done the car a light grey so the bonnet should look really good when its on I'm hoping. When I get the car done that is,third coat is on,rub that down tomorrow ready for last coat.
