Paint the wheel centres body colour i reckon. Not very original or classy, but i think it got enough of a toy car look to pull it off. Even more so once you've employed the stick. Awesome choice of car though, an Italian sports coupe has got to be on everyones 'will own on day' list. Looking forward to updates

the 145 and GTV are about the same weight, so speed is about the same the GTV handles alot better tho due to lower centre of gravity. 145 rolls around corners unless you stiffen up the back end like I have done to mine lol I am very much looking forward to seeing those alloys on the car ;D Typical hatchback fault, compact, space saving rear suspension setup to be able to bare load and provide comfort. I'm rather excited about getting the alloys on too, I need to get some decent quality PCD adapters made up and get my polishing arm out on those lips to get a good shine. The L-shaped bit on the coil-over body is indeed for the ARB drop link. The 2.0TS that I have has the ARB attached to the wishbone, as do the early 3.0 V6's, The later 3.0 V6's however have the droplink. By all means can run off some measurements for you. What would you like to know ? Shocks body length and hub attachment and then the placement of the droplink bracket along the shock body ? Thank you mate just piecing bits together at the moment. I like to do lots of prep and then have a big change all at once which gives maximum mojo boosting impact Another goodie turned up today 300mm omp tracento, There isn't a boss kit available for a GTV, however this doesn't mean there isn't a boss that fits.. I hope In other news, O/S Outer CV boot has blown it's load all over the inside of my wheel. So one of those'll need ordered on Monday. Yes please buddy, just the shock length, the hub mounting point width, the position of the bolt hols, and the size of teh drop link bar. Cheers Robin

Shock length is 277m from tip to tip. hub mount width is 35mm Bolt holes are 75mm apart (center to center) Drop link 51mm from shock body to outside edge of the bracket and is 110mm top to bottom. HTH managed to fit the front driver side coil-over this afternoon.. I've been awake since 7am Sunday morning so why I attempted a suspension change after being awake for that long.. god knows. Adjust cups will be coming out the rear and I'm going to see if I can't crank the front down just a few mm more.

are you taking the curse word? lol surely you cant get much lower than that with an alfa...the sump will scratch the floor and drop 6 litres of oil everywhere and then the crank will scorn itself and then it will need a complete engine rebuild...

That is a big fear of mine, although perfect excuse to SORN it and go for a 2.4JTD swap. its a bit of an oxymoron but I'm Gently mechanically unforgiving. It won't be going any lower now, Will get some better tires on it soon, currently have 195/40's upfront which are diddy little things and i'm not a fan of the 'no tires look' This is nothing short of beautiful! Thank you, I'm totally smitten with this car now.

Well my regreased and rebooted CV joint but it is squeeking again so looks like it'll need replacing.. obviously the lowering isn't helping things at all here. Hopped out my car to move my friends car forward so that I could get on my drive and ..err realised how close the splitter is to the floor going up the mild slope on the drive
