Wanted- I need to move my Morris minor less than 2 miles across Beverley but it has no brakes. I could do with hiring a straight bar or a frame? Any ideas anybody?

And if you want a straight bar I have one here that goes from towbar on car to towing eye or similar on the car being towed. I'm down at Skipsea so 12 miles from you.
In fact if you can be tempted to buy it it's yours for a fiver.

Hi TurboPete - If you've not managed to get your Minor moved yet I can recommend going in to Beverley Motor Factors on Mill Lane (Phoenix Business Park, on the bend just past Murco as you head towards Norwood) and asking after a staff member there who moves vehicles on the side. Can't give you his name as I can't remember it, but the guy in question moved a car for me (Morris Traveller, also with no brakes) across Beverley for not very much money at all a few months ago. In fact, I remember giving him more than he asked for due to the time taken to do the Job.
