Getting a duplicate MOT advisory sheet?

My new car has an MOT, and on the "Advisory Issued?" bit it says "Yes". However the advisory sheet is nowhere to be found.

Now, I've heard that you can go to any MOT test station and get them to print another copy off, but is there any way to do it online? It's just that I'm at work when my friendly MOT tester guy is open so I can't go and see him.

I just want to see what the advisories were so I can fix them for next MOT.

go on saturday. Could maybe try phoning to see if he can read it off the computer or print the certificate while you're not there and just tell you what it says. If he's so friendly then none of this will be a problem.

You can use the MOT history on this .gov site:

You need the V5 or MOT to get the details off.

I've just done mine and it is quite enlightenening!

go here, you need either a MoT test number (off the certificate) or the v5 reference number and you can access all computer tests for the vehicle, including advisories.

I used the above before to get the entire history of my cars MOT history! Does at least give you an idea of what it's failled on, had advisories on, and where to look for possible bodges

That's fantastic! Thanks very much. It was interesting reading, fortunately the advisories are minor but it was great going through the history and seeing what work was done!

I might do a check on the Bond's history when I get time, too!
