Certainly not a fact I recall but one I'd imagine I must have read in features on him/his car in Custom Car I think. WOuld explain why he had the wherewithall to make a 7/8 scale tri Chevy.

I had a covin, was a terrble concept. Looks like a supercar, drives and handles like a mobility car.

Biggest issue is, people think they can make them quick, but they suffer front lift, flexing, and the transaxle is only good for 150 bhp, may as well buy a rough 911 SC

I remember once on the forum the owner of the moulds came on the forum and caused a big fuss, would that be tim cook?

IIRC there were 2 people involved, I assume the other was called Vincent or something hence Co-Vin.

A guy called Daz Edwards built a Covin in the early 90s, on a full chassis with a small block chevy in the front and 9" Ford axle. Was an absolute animal.
