Smell of fuel after running, but no obvious leaks?

Might be a toughy this one.. or simple as pie. After running, even the smallest distance, I can smell petrol when I step out of the car. When left still no patches form on the floor, and I cant see any leaks so I can't locate it.

Has anyone got any suggestions? Its a 1994 1.2 Corsa B if thats any help.

My polo did this and it was a split tank - high up at the filler so only did it when the tank was full or after driving, and only seeping out so not immediately noticeable.

could be the vent from the tank not venting properly or even missing/ not venting outside the car/ blocked etc, should be a cheap fix so worth checking 1st. do you use much more fuel than normal?

check for a blocked or dislocated fuel tank breather hose. Also if you've brimmed the tank check that fuel is weaping out around the sender seal. My old car did that and when filled full left a puddle of petrol sitting on top of the tank.

There are two black rubber pipes going into (and out of) the fuel rail behind the inlet. These split on Vauxhalls. Even the tiniest split will make the car stink of petrol fumes!
