1983 MK1 Renault 5 - Plymouth - NOW BREAKING

Ive now decided to sell it as "Restoration or Parts" as its a bit much work for me and no use to me as parts.
Chatting to some Frenchy enthusiasts it is a rare beasty indeed and worth good money for the parts alone. I hope It can either be propperly saved or at least be a good doner car to save others.

It is only the body thats a bit rough but everything else seems to work fine! I'd just like it to go to some use really. (Ive now driven it under its own power and everything seems to work fine!!)

Ill also consider offers or swaps for anything retro car related or anything that may interest me for my J cars.

hello mate, there is arenault specialist in Exmouth on Dinan Way trading estate... worth giving him a call as he may be interested...

When i was up there a few weeks ago he had an original Renault 5 Gordini arriving on the back of a truck!

Sorry but I just have to many cars at the moment really. If I could weld myself I'd probably give it a go but I'd have to spend out money on it rather than spending it on my Corolla.
Ive rather give someone else the chance to do it or give a good supply of parts to help others survive. Thanks

As pandaselecta knows, Ive been on the look out for one of these for quite some time now.

Just shame i havnt got space for any projects otherwise id snap it up.

I think its going to be next year now before I'm even in a posision to consider buying one. Which is a shame considering how rarely they come up nowadays.

Good luck with the sale though, Its worth every penny imho.

Hey I feel your pain, these cars are awesome.

I considered this myself but the rust on the lower A pillar is a tricky fix.

Ultimately if this gives up its innards to keep a load of other 5's on the road I think you made the right choice!

Was thinking that too. But then i don't know what it cost him to get it home.... Nothing I'm assuming though going by the rac van or whatever it was in the readers rides thread?
