apologies if this has already been done but thought it would be good to have a thread on cars with power that you wouldnt expect. just because I found this 550hp at the wheels 640hp engine or so Ive been told. All this while still in front wheel drive format Ive seen 300hp before in a renault but not double that in a 5. So come on then, anyone else know any cars that shouldnt have that much power ;D

Fair few 306's about with 400 bhp couple of 205's with 500+ the 106 rallye next to it proves that big power isn't always the answer though, 13 with only 180 bhp

500 BHP from 7500rpm to 8000rpm. 25 BHP below 7000 RPM. a good broad torque curve is what you want rather than high peak numbers. 180 BHP well delivered will be way nicer to drive and quicker in a lot of real world situations.

Scoffs r5gtt has done a 10.2 this year. It also ran 674hp on WGT's rolling road last week, awesome for a 2.0!

There are numerous 106s over 300bhp now.
But Dean's was aiming 500 but nigh on undrivable so its just 400 ish now

Theres a gun metal grey mini with an 1800 vtec turbo in the front which has dyno'd with 400bhp, all street legal and will spin the wheels in 5th in any condition at any rpm.

The 106/Saxo/Ax tuners overseas are getting some good figures. One Ax being built over here is going to be running 300-350bhp then direct port Nitrous jets of 100bhp. that'll be quick my turbo kit in it's old home beating a 350Z but there are some quick Ax's on the continent and a 500ps (490bhp) one in Greece allegedly lightweight rules! power to weight ratio is where it's at lol

still like my old saab 13.2 at 119mph fully loaded on street tyres 1500kg wheel hp on a hub dyno so a good 500hp flywheel and the whole car stood me less than £1500

damn did that polo's back end raise up halfway up the strip These are the sort of cars I prefer. No wide body kits or bits of plastic stuck everywhere just plain and simple fairly standard looking. Sleepers in their best form got a couple more. Now I know there are probably going to be a few haters but I love these cars (mainly because Ive owned one ) but here you go. Accent X3 running a 9 second quarter. And not quite as fast but I love how it looks standard aparrt from the wheels (exactly like mine but mine was silver)
