Cheers, I am thinking Dolly Sprint alloys could work! MGF alloys (15") would be too big I would expect though. Revolutions work really well on the Metro's but don't think they would on the R100's More Compomotives- Some others-

Revolutions work really well on the Metro's but don't think they would on the R100's 15" MGF rims have been put on loads! Have a look for Performance Metro Group. I have always fancied getting some adaptors made up and running some funky J-Tin wheels like Streetfins on a 100 with a big old 6R4 style wing and the car slammed to the ground! (1.8 VVC K Series is also an incredibly simple straight swap!) Rysz.

I'm sure there used to be a couple of these that turned up to dubclub meets in cov back in around 2008... maybe i dreamt it... thought one of them looked pretty good though at the time?

That one at the top is pretty much how I'd roll, but I would like to see a late Rover 100 in some sugary colour that they came in, slammed over some wide Superlite Splits and a nicely spec'd 1.8 VVC.

Hmmm i actually like the top one.... odd for me. Though i'm used to seeing loads of small cars over here with "superlite" wheels put on and nothign else done. Starlets, micras, corsas, even a couple of R5s and clios, because young lads see those wheels on AE86s and MK2 escorts and old opels and think they'd be cool on their cars, except they almost never work due to the offset being way wrong and the wheels sticking out (they just buy the ones intended for escorts/capris and opels with big offsets). This one works however, as it hasn't got the wheels pokign out 4 inches either side and it's also lowered, so for once i actually like it.

I love Metros, I don't like that first one though. Lowering is a case of getting reduced knuckles (I can't remember what they're called) on the suspension, or cheaper still, letting hydrogas fluid out.

I've always wanted a Rover Metro, but being 6ft 1 and 20+ stone, that kinda makes it hard to fit in one, never mind driving it. Reylands R100 is pretty special. ENGINE 1.8 VVC ENGINE REYLAND EXHAUST CAM LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL REYLAND 2.25” EXHAUST MGF RADIATOR CONVERSION BRM CLOSE RATIO GEARBOX WITH TORSEN DIFF SUSPENSION MGF TROPHY REAR DISPLACER ON FRONT STD REAR INDIVIDUALISED HYDROGAS BRAKES REYLAND/AP 4 POT 300MM WHEELS 15” COMPOMOTIVE www.reyland.co.uk/metro.asp

There's a set of cosmics on the bay at the moment, perfect for an Austin Metro but might look too retro for a 100. They have the wrong pcd but i think Nissan Prairie hub flanges adapt them for use on the Metro.

Never really been a fan of them to be honest or anything rover based so if it was mine probably just look at and think why do you get that you don't even like them lol. To be fair there are some pretty quick and tastefully done ones around so I'm not anti them in any way just I would never own one

I love a Metro (I used to have a 4 door 1.3 City X in dark maroon with cream interior) best wheels on a Metro I ever saw was in Retro Cars magazine (can't find a pic right now though) - banded steels - looked amazing

They look very smart, but a tad too big if you plan on going low, the silver metro is Dazs turbo (from the metroownersclub).
