So i'm selling my Chevette.
All the running gear and associated bits have been stripped.
There are no front brakes, but still has the hubs on, with good bearings.
All the original controls are there - so lights and watnot are all in working order.
I've left the Mountney boss in there, but the wheel fitted is a gammy old one.
There are no seats, although if it helps the sale i can bolt the universal budget buckets back in for a little extra.
I've left the radiator in, as it fits nicely and i have no use for it. The master cylinder is still fitted, along with the brake lines.
I always intended to keep it as its solid in all the right places (suspension points, chassis rails). It is a bit ropey looking though as you can see from the pics.
The sills have been patched in the past, but have passed 2 MOTs as they are.
We did a temporary fix on the rear arches when we were doing the engine conversion, and never got around to doing them properly. I do have a pair of repair panels which will be included in the sale.
The worst part of the shell is the lower front panel
As you can see there is a pair of white Opel Manta wheels bolted on the front, and i will chuck the other pair in the back so you get a whole set. Even if you can't bolt them all back on.
It was fitted with an XE engine and Opel Manta A series running ger, so the gear stick hole has been moved back by a couple of inches.
The log book has 1998cc as the engine capacity, and an XE engine number.
I think it is still MOTd, not that it means anything.
One of the headlights was replaced for the last MOT.
It is stored in my Dads workshop in Ottery St Mary, which is about 10 miles from Exeter. Obviously needs a full trailer to take it away.
A difficult one to put a price tag on, but as a starting point i'll say £150.
If you'd like any more pics get in touch.
