Firstly, sorry my first post is a for sale ad, but I need the funds for my retro projects which I will show you all in due course so please forgive my lack of ettiquette!
I have recently finished a mini resto on this Audi. It started out seafoam green with a caved in quarter, 'orrid standard front bumper and 17" chrome wheels. I have repaired the body, fitted a v6 front bumper and resprayed the car in Audi Santorin blue - much better! I took all the panels off to paint it so the only area that remains green is under the bonnet. I also replaced the nasty rims with standard 10 spokes.
It has a full black leather interior in nice condition and the roof is in good nick with a good rear window. There is a fit 2.0 litre engine and manual box so you can afford to put fuel in it! It is mot'd until January and is currently sorn'ed.
Bad points, the electric roof isn't working (not unusual), but the fluid is drained from the hydraulics and the roof raises and lowers manually with ease. The rear reflector has been repaired, the central locking is on the blink and the brakes may be a little stiff as it has been sat (in a dry shed) for a couple of months. I resprayed the car myself and am happy with the finish for a hayshed respray, but it isn't perfect. I'm not trying to make it sound bad, but I like to be honest so nobody is dissapointed.
The car is in Dumfries, DG1, 10 miles from the motorway and can be viewed anytime - pm me if you wish.
I'd like £1250 for it but may consider a part ex plus cash my way for the right car - seventies at the newest, mot not essential. If nothing else, I am open to a sensible cash offer.
Cheers
Bob
