mondeo is his work car - this ones his weekend car.

came into work, and was going to get a turbo technics conversion butchered into it, but this car is completely bog standard with no rust (not a drop, i know fords and know how much of a rariety no rust is) and it seemed a shame to butcher it about

the car is a complete fresh slate so to speak, completely untouched by any barry or bodger, and i spose it plans to stay that way really (apart from a wheel change and a few engine faffs that is)

i come really struck when i thought for a wheel for it, nothing really seems to suit it apart from the regular mo/azev A srt of look, any ideas?

If it's a good example, then surely it's a good base point for a turbo conversion?

If it's a healthy engine, it's worth bolting the turbo on.
If it's a rot-free shell then it's not going to start breaking up when you add power.... You don't have to make any changes to the shell for the TT conversion, do you?

don't want to turbo it really, hes not after work, he just wants something that he can give a clean once a week and take it out for a razz every now and then - IMO quite boring, but if thats what he wants then fair play to him, although I'm sure he will change his mind when ive got 200bhp under my right foot ;D ;D

i have a 2.8 efi engine an box single turbo conversion removed from xr4i was running ok looking 4 £275 if any good to u pal!(sheffield)

Mmm - I really like these, they remind me of my early days of model car racing when the dad of a mate used to take me & his son to the meetings in one, the guy that owned the local model shop & sponsored us also had one..... both in the same blue colour.
